Pies
Pie Crust 1
- Whisk
1 \frac{1}{4}cups of flour with\frac{1}{4}tsp. salt - Cut in
\frac{1}{2}cups of cubed butter (chilled),\frac{1}{4}cups cold water. - Refridgerate
Pie Crust 2
- Mix
\frac{1}{3}cup flour,\frac{1}{3}tsp. salt. - Cut in
\frac{1}{2}cups of shortening, 3 tbsp. cold water. - Refridgerate
Pumpkin Pie 1
- Preheat oven to
425 \degreeF. - Whisk together 1 can pumpkin, 1 can sweetened-condensed milk, and two eggs.
- Add 1 tsp. cinnamon,
\frac{1}{2}tsp. ginger,\frac{1}{2}tsp. nutmeg,\frac{1}{2}tsp. salt. - Add to pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes at
245 \degreeF, then for 35-40 minutes at350 \degreeF.
Pumpkin Pie 2

- Preheat oven to
425 \degreeF. - Whisk together 2 can pumpkin, 2 cans evaporated milk, two eggs, and
\frac{3}{4}cups brown sugar. - Add
\frac{1}{2}tsp. cinnamon,\frac{1}{2}tsp. ginger,\frac{1}{2}tsp. nutmeg,\frac{1}{2}tsp. salt. - Add to pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes at
245 \degreeF, then for 35-40 minutes at350 \degreeF.
Apple Hand Pie

Filling
- Cut 2 apples into slices.
- Mix
\frac{1}{4}cups sugar, 2 tbsp. brown sugar,1 \frac{1}{4}tsp. cinnamon, and\frac{1}{4}tsp. salt together with 1 tsp. water. - Brown 2 tbsp. butter on mild heat.
- Mix in apples, add sugar mixture.
- Wait until apples are softened (approx. 5 minutes).
Hand Pies
- Preheat oven to
400 \degreeF. - Split pie crust into 4. Place fillin in crust, fold.
- Sprinkle with
\frac{1}{4}tsp. white sugar. - Whisk 2 tsp. milk, 1 egg. Brush pastries.
- Bake at
400 \degreeF. for 25-30 minutes.
